About Shipping Zones

The cost of shipping to one country is often the same as the cost of shipping to a neighbouring country. Rather than entering the shipping costs for every single country individually, you can assign countries to shipping zones and set shipping fees for each zone. Shipping rates for all countries within a particular shipping zone will be the same.

FastCart also has a default set of shipping zones, which can save you time in the set up process. You can change the default shipping zones at any time. If you change the shipping zones, you can restore them to the defaults quickly and easily.

Default Shipping Zones

FastCart includes a set of default shipping zones to help you to begin trading as quickly as possible. You can change the default settings by using the form above. You can reset the default shipping zones by clicking the button below.

The default shipping zones are:

Zone 1 - UK
Zone 2 - Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Italy, Spain
Zone 3 - USA, Canada
Zone 4 - Australia, New Zealand
Zone 5 (none)
Rest of the World - All countries not listed above are in the special zone called "Rest of the World". This is a standard shipping zone and you will need to set shipping rates accordingly.
